CARD FROM THE COAST
Card from the Coast really gives off Mango’s Mediterranean Dream vibes. The film has that same sunlit, breezy feel you get from their campaigns, but it’s set on a rugged, rocky beach with wide-open skies and cliffs that scream "Mediterranean paradise." Instead of a typical gloomy, moody setting for a story about grief, the natural light and expansive landscape make everything feel fresh, almost comforting, even as Emmy deals with her emotions.
The film’s retro feel is another nod to Mango’s style, especially with the grainy Super 8mm flashbacks. These shots of Emmy as a child bring a nostalgic, personal touch, much like the vintage-inspired visuals in Mango’s campaign.
Overall, Card from the Coast blends that relaxed, Mediterranean energy with a deeply emotional story. It’s a mix of stunning landscapes, nostalgic visuals, and quiet moments that make the film feel both timeless and intimate—almost like something you'd want to capture for yourself.
