The Corrupted Pixie - PAP MAGAZINE
Back in the summer, Olivia Wolstenholme reached out to me to collaborate on an exciting editorial for the November issue of PAP magazine. The concept departs from my usual high-fashion aesthetic, venturing into a fantasy world.
In "The Corrupt Pixie," Annie transforms into a modern-day fairy with an edge, blending grunge and femininity. Through special effects, we crafted a captivating look featuring rebellious fake piercings, prosthetic ears, unique cut wig and matching aesthetically pleasing dark fairy core styling. The resulting imagery captures a magical yet haunting atmosphere, where enchantment is mixed with darkness. This shoot explores how an aesthetic can be moulded into a personal preference, for example- fairy core you would initially think that this is fem styled, light, lots of pinks/ greens etc. In this editorial the team have adapted the aesthetic to discover if you push ideas can you develop aesthetics within aesthetics. We created a grunge fairy core presence.
